I launched my first of a series of blogs that I entitled “The Obama Watch” on January 8, 2008. (Feel free to check out all the previous blogs from the monthly archives.) After an impressive win in the Iowa Caucus, the question was raised, “Can Obama Become President?” Well almost 10 months later on this past Tuesday as nearly 130 million cast their ballots, “IT HAPPENED!” Barack Obama won a decisive, landslide victory to become the 44th President of the United States of America.

I’m sure like myself, you watched with great in trepidation the results coming in and projections being announced by the various news sources. As pivotal states like Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Ohio were tallied through the night and projected for the Obama column, it wasn’t until 11:00 p.m. (EST) after the polls closed on the west coast that it became official that Barack Obama would become the first African-American to dawn the leadership of the most powerful country in the world!

Celebrations amidst tears were the order of the day as individuals witnessed the dawning of a new day. [2008 – The Year of a New Beginning!] People reflected on the sacrifices of so many, who endured great hardships under the banner of racism & discrimination, which built the platform for this day to come! “IT HAPPENED!”

Back on February 7th, 2008, Bishop Keith Allen was the first to respond to my blogs that Senator Obama would become the president. He wrote, “The morning after Iowa as I was waking up the Holy Ghost revealed to me that Senator Obama would move through the country like a locomotive. And also that Senator Obama would be President. The first part is confirmed. Now for the second part. I have witnesses because I immediately told the saints what was revealed to me.” Even my pastor, Bishop Norman L. Wagner, declared in the first message of 2008 that the saints would ultimately control who would become the next president. “IT HAPPENED!”

HOW DID IT HAPPEN?

The election of Barack Obama as the President of the United States represents a ‘defined moment’ in destiny! I will share in future blogs the spiritual significance of what has occurred, but it represents a “spiritual shift” that is taking place. It is essential and critical that everyone examines the identification of their purpose in destiny and seek to fulfill a God-given (or divine) mandate on their life. In most of my messages, I reference that God is strategically moving his pieces (you and me) on His “chess board of life!” No excuses can be offered, because we’ve witnessed that anything now is possible. Whatever your dream in God, it can come to pass! “IT HAPPENED!”

Let me & others around the world hear from you. What does the election of Barack Obama mean to you? In my next blog, I’ll discuss, “Now What?” God bless! – A.G. Brady

Glenn, the only time I have been more jubilant that I am now is when I recieved the Holy spirit many years ago. This country will never be the same. I am so glad that Barack Obama did not go the traditional route but went the God route. I know you caught the end of his speech when he said all things are possible. The man knows who put him there and why he is there. I am praying for God to give him wisdom and 100 legion of angels to put their protection around him and his family. There is definitely a shift for change and responsibility. We will see this nation rise and all of its people will rise with it: all I can say Glenn is that I am sure I will see you at the White House for some meetings over the next 8 years....

I am elated, excited, and over joyed at the thought and reality of the first African American President of the United States of America! I am still in the after glow and excitement of it all. One of the thoughts that come to mind that I cannot wait to do is look at the posters and charts that have all the former Presidents of the United States of America. To be able to look at 43 white faces and to see the one black face of President elect Barack Obama will be a joy and memory I will never forget!

This is indeed a defining and decisive moment in history. The people of America have spoken with a clear voice-they want change.I don't believe they are expecting mindless change or chaotic change but meaningful change that will impact the world and move us forward to fulfilling the dream of Dr.Martin Luther King which was the prayer of Jesus.Obama and the democrats alone will not do it,it will take all of us playing our part on the stage of life. This gentleman has class, brains, and the temerity to hope. The church needs to pray for him and his family that they be guided by God.Thank God I live to see this day.

I just pray Bishop Norman Wagner becomes a special adviser!
Barak will set a New Model of Leadership that will be studied in schools and universities all over the World!

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Jim Sparks on 11/8/2008
Being at the Grant Park all I can say is that it was spiritual experience. And the Lord moved that even though there were over a quarter of a million people were there, it was a celebration. No trouble that we experience or heard of. Let us pray for his guidance and protection.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Elder Gregory Murray on 11/8/2008
Bishop Brady I enjoyed your workshop today. Words can not explain how much ths election has an impact on my life, as a 29 year old striving to achieve greatness I watched this election unfold and I saw something in Barak, consistency and focus that only comes from a strategic plan that utilized every resource or vehicle possible . This caused me to reexamine what I was doing and also to utilize every resource I have to its full potential with a spirit of excellence. I realized that when you have that spirit everyone around you has to take on that spirit.

Esther 4:14 says, "...and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"

This question no doubt could have been asked of then Senator Barack Obama back in 2004 when he gave the address at the Democratic National Convention that thrust him into the national spotlight. No doubt it could have been asked back in January when he would shock the "establishment" by taking the Iowa caucus.

However, there is no longer any need to ask the question as the hand of God has been clearly and decisively shown, and Pres. But God has given us a man in the person of Pres. Elect Barack Obama BECAUSE OF THE TIMES!!

Greetings and thanks for the Blog, Rev. Brady.
Mr Obama I believe is the manifestation of a new WORLD order. In the UK black people who have been born in England have suffered from what W.E.B. Debois identified as double consiousness,(where someone sees them self through the eyes of another). Black people in the West have been porttrayed predominantly as insignificant and inferior and have self imposed constraints on their own ambitions and dreams. Too often we opt-out of lifes choices and oppertunities because we have belevied the label others have placed on us.

W.E.B. Dubois (1938) states:

“It is a peculiar sensation, this ‘Double Consciousness’, this sense of always looking at one’s self through the eyes of others. Essentially, ‘Double Consciousness’ is someone where two souls, two thoughts, two un-reconciled strivings, two warring ideals in one body.”

Franz Fanon (1952) states:
“The Black man has two dimensions. One with his fellows, the other with the White man. Stephen, it's interesting to receive your European perspective as an African-Caribbean living in England. Certainly, President-Elect Obama represents not just an achievement for America but the world.

All I have to say is Thank God for the year of New Beginnings! Now the Body of Christ must continue to pray for the man that God has elevated to lead the United States...oh yes God elevated him, and moved the rest of us to the polls where His will be done!

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Jane Sims - Indiana on 11/10/2008
Dear Bishop Brady,
Greetings!
Thanks for the blog. I concur with all that you have written. It is indeed a tremendous moment in world history, but it is at the same time a significant spiritual moment as well. I don't know if anyone else felt the powerful wave of spiritual release that swept forth like a tidal wave when it was announced on Tuesday evening that Barack Obama had enough electorial votes to become the next president.
There was indeed an elevation, a lifting - especially for people of color, not only in this nation but around the world. The state of Indiana did indeed make history in this election by narrowly voting in a Democratic candidate and one who is African American. I pray that this is catalyst that will produce real change in our state. Blessings to you. Keep up the good work!

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Judy Arrington on 11/11/2008
Bishop Brady,
The Holy Ghost has sent "praise" (Barack) into the White House! God has done a sudden thing before all the world. The world, especailly the saints, should be praising God and paying close attention to the movement of the Spirit. First, the government is truly upon His-Jesus-shoulders; therefore, we should Barack (praise) Jesus. Second, the spirit of "white" supremacy in this country has been dealt "the" death blow. All non-white ethnicities can know that with God all things are possible, if you believe, say, and be willing to fight. Third, the Lord has shown those in our nation that Americans of African descent were never in His mind a people of insignificance (chattel), of sub-level intellence, nor a limited people in their leadership ability to command and oversee a nation. Finally, this move of the Spirit is beyond what it seems at the surface, eventhough we rejoice about this historic time. Praise (Barack) going into the White House is a sign for the saints of The Most High to execute the plans and the pursuits God has commanded for this time. We must do as our nwely elected President: "stay cool, stay focused on the plan, take time to destress/relax, and let praise take us to our place of destiny in God." I too pray that somehow God will allow Bishop to speak into President Obama's life. I also believe that there is something God is speaking to the State of Alabama, too. The Alabama football team is #1 in the nation, and the President's name bears part of the state's name. I know that I am in the midst of something God ordained and supernatural. I'm glad I live in Alabama. God has plans for us- "The Queen of the South." It's a new time, and as Bishop Wagner has declared, "We must learn to capture, manage, and move with the holy time." It is a wonderful time to be alive.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 11/11/2008
This is indeed a wonder time. As I have stated before, according to the 2nd and 4th chapters of Daniel, God appoints kings. It is amazing how Mr Obama came into power. By the Way everybody, his name is Mr. Barack Obama!!! I was watching a documentary on Mr Obama’s entry into the Senate. Ted Kennedy, Joe Biden and Tom Daschal told Mr Obama that he would be the next Democratic President. They told him to shut up and don’t vote that on anything that would label his name with controversy. Many people were surprise when Kennedy endorsed Mr. Obama. The media immediately followed. Hillary (my girl for president) was shocked, and put in a maze at what was going on. Was this God at work and we didn’t know it? Yes it was. God speaks to me about many things, but hid this one. Also, as I read Bishop Brady’s blog, I have picked up many pieces to this puzzle that makes my heart rejoice like a little child. Mr Obama’s mother flew back to America so she could birth in the USA. His father passed at a young age, which kept Mr Obama in America. He went to the best of school and became the president of the Harvard Law Review. His speech at the 2004 DNC raised eyebrows and possibly planted the seed in Ted Kennedy and others. Now, these next comments are what I believed to be the icing on the cake. Like in Dr King’s era, God needed a different type of man. Flow with me for a second please. We talk about mixed races, but there is only one race of people which has cultures and ethnicities. So he is not mixed. Adam was a dark skinned man (taken from the dust of the ground). The color of the dust is brown or dark. Eve was a fair skinned woman (taken from the rib of the man). The rib is pink. So Mr. Obama is a perfect fit just like the act of creation. Isn’t God good saints? Let us rejoice, because all ethnicities came from one race; a black man and a white woman. I am excited. Black is the essence of color, and white is the absence of color. Isn’t this wonderful, America saw in this man the absence and the essence of color for the human race. Glory to God. I feel like cutting a step. LOL. What a marvelous time in a marvelous country!!!!

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By A. Glenn Brady on 11/12/2008
Gittysbug, you sound you like to want to preach! Just think, a Republican converter who fought hard the thought of an Obama presidency is now a believer. Hmmm - sounds like a "Damascus Road" experience to me!

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 11/12/2008
Okay-LOL- Bishop in reply to your response- all I can say is the light became brighter when Mr Obama did not pull out of the race after my girl asked him to because of the last negative information regarding William Ayers surfaced. There had been many times when the light shone to tell me that Mr Obama would be the President, but I paid it no mind until he refused to withdraw. When Ted Kennedy immediately gave a sounding shout for Mr Obama after he came out of the hospital, as much as I did not like his politics, I saw that big bright light and like the Apostle Paul, I immediately went to work to get Mr Obama elected. I told many of my close republican white friends to give change a chance. Many of them did. I was able to get many church denominations to pray on November 3. I saw the light. It is a very good feeling to walk according to the Spirit of God’s providence. Amen, and amen. I hope to see you on 11/21/08.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Belinda Wilson on 11/12/2008
My joy at this monumental event is coupled with the realization that we are also witness to the fulfillment of scripture: Matthew 19:30 - But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. We know and have known that there is no greater last demographic than a Black man in America. I thank God for His infinite love and mercy toward us and the dawning of this beautiful new day.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Bishop Keith on 11/13/2008
We should also keep in perspective that the world stage is being set for the advent of the Christ and the anti-christ. The economic global melt down and world governments bailout-control is just another step toward total global control when all citizens of the world will have to take the mark of the beast before any activity can be conducted. Remember saints we we cannot take the mark.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 11/13/2008
Bishop Keith, if the rapture of the saints is to take place before the Great Tribulation, why do we have to worry about taking the mark of the Beast. We are not appointed to God’s wrath. We look forward to the great day of being changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. The true saints of the Church will not have time to think about taking the mark. Whether our theology is pre or post tribulation we are getting out of here before that man of sin is revealed. Let us rejoice and be glad for the day of redemption is at hand.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Bishop Keith on 11/14/2008
Don't be caught unprepared

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Jacquie on 11/14/2008
I have read all of you and agree with most. I know this is history which we will never forget, but I believe it is deeper than that. It is only fulfilling what God has planned for the end time. I have to agree with Bishop Keith to an extent, but agree with gittysbug, the saints will not be her to take the mark. If we can't live holy now, we certainly won't be able to take the mark or get our heads cut off. Just as Bish Tudor Bismark declared eight years ago all the way from Zimbabwe that Mr Bush had to be president of the USA, that was certainly on purpose to get us so sick of the economy, etc. and to hunger for change that we would put what we call a black man into office to get that change. The real change is fulfillment of the scriptures, which the next on the agenda is preparing for the anti-christ to be revealed but the Saints of the Most High right now shall take the Kingdom and possess it, not just for a little while but forever, even forever and ever. All we can do is say ride on King Jesus, for he knows our end from our beginning and chose to do exactly what is happening now. We will see the glory of God unfold itself and this nation will rise again to the greatest country in the world. This move is for the world and the world really does know it. Mr. Obama does know who put him there and why, God kept him focused to not fall into the trap of the enemy, just as he keeps us. It is our time now to rise and do all that is in our hearts to do. We also have been called to the Kingdom for such a time as this. There is no time to stop or rest where we are, but it is time to move for God's sake.
Yes, Pastor Happy Blessed Birthday.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 11/20/2008
Happy Birthday Bishop Brady, and I wish you many more. Bishop Keith, I agree with you because you are speaking from the scriptures. The Bible tells us not to sleep as others, because we are awake. Emphatically the saints are not of the night but of the day. Preparation is repentance, baptism in water (Jesus name) and the infilling of God’s spirit. We are no longer sinners, therefore sin as no dominion over us to keep us from making the rapture (Romans). A baby saint is no less prepared than a 50 year old saint. If there is a difference then grace can not be grace. We would not be justified ,but rather judged. However, we are not to live as if we have not been redeemed. If we live contrary to our nature, we will die. Our message is to make the saints aware of who they are, and pour into them the life and mentality of Christ our savior. We ought to look forward to the coming of Christ, and not backwards to sin (as Hebrews states). “ Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy” (Jude). He has prepared a placed for them that he has prepared to receive it. You, me and others will receive it because he has prepared us.
Eld. Brooks Made some very unique points on his Interpretation of the Events Leading up to THE "FIRST BLACK president of the United States!

however the illustrations he made about Blacks in sports in then one reference to Barack Obama as President Of the United States "Spot the odd one out!) Change has come" are very interesting. I can not help but conclude that the achievments of "Blacks" if not seen in the Media, are not researched or sought out. Especially in England Many Black people hold high-level and top ranking postitions. Either to draft policy, in diplimatic arenas, matriculating in Academia, or by being the Best in thier HOME. Blacks are ON the World Platform in almost Every Area that Matters in Life. There is not one Prominent Area in Life where Blacks as not represented! As for The Media It has always been a form of Entertainment! everyone knows that. There is no Arguement to that point! JUST BE PROUND OF BLACKS IN WHATEVER AREA THEY ARE IN AND ENCOURAGE MORE TO ACCEL IN DIFFERENT AREAS OF LIFE!

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Amaris on 11/23/2008
There are no excuses! The United States of America now has a black president. As a college student, I still have my days when reality hits and I find myself still in amazement. Because of this event, I can now genuinely say that the sky is the limit. There is no reason why goals are not getting met, dreams are not coming true and visions are not coming to past. Discouragement has become more and more prevalent within the church and especially within the black community. It is important that we do not see things for how they are, but instead, how God said they will be. I am grateful to have witnessed such a great event that will go down in history. I hope the black community can rise up and look at our President Elect as motivation and not a crutch.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Jaquie on 11/24/2008
Amaris, even before this historical event we had no excuse as black people, we use and used that as a crutch, and blamed everything on racism, when in fact we were just downright, plain intimidated to step out. I appreciate our President Elect even more because he dared to walk the water of faith and hope to become. That right there is not only a message to the world but especially the church. Just as Bishop preaced last night, we are "Stuck On Go". When in fact the church should be in the forefront of the events happening in the world. Now it is time for the Saints of the Most High to take the kingdom and possess it forever and ever, even forever. It is time for the Sons of God to rule even in High places. Thanks to the President Elect to not be intimidated by the hatred of man and step into the Faith of God. It is that faith and hope that will bring about the change this world needs with the help with the prayers of the saints. This is the time when the cure for cancer will be discovered and I am believing that a saints will also do that
Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 11/24/2008
Jaquie- 11/24/08, you mean to tell me that you and I are agreeing again. This is like the rebirth of the spirit (hang in there and perfection of the flesh will follow the spirit). I am convinced that you are a republican- LOL- Your comments to Amaris is exactly what I would say to him/her. A child of God living in America has never had limits, only hindrances. Many Blacks in America allowed what they saw to change who they were. I trained my oldest son to be the president to the United States of America 25 years ago. I sent him to the best schools, and made sure that he spoke proper grammar every second of his life. He was always four grades levels ahead of himself. I allowed him to go to public school when he went to the tenth grade. He started out in all accelerated classes, but by the time he graduated he barely made it through. Choices defeated him, not opportunities. Now, seven years after high school, he is back in college getting good grades again. Choices, not opportunities. My 17 and 14 year olds are ‘A’ students in high school. Both of them are saved and are looking forward to becoming successful in the fields they have chosen. They are happy about the election, but before Mr. Obama became President Elect, they had their plans mapped out with the help of the Lord. Mr Obama’s selection is providential. We thank God, but individually and collectively we have made great strides. Thanks Jaquie.
Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By jacquie on 11/25/2008
Hey gittysbug, we have agreed again and I agree with what you are saying. No not republican LOL but try to look at the best view. It looks like we have mirrored our children, however, those choices will defeat a person. i am not counting my son out but I am asking that you join me in prayer for him. I trust God that he will be back in his rightful place in the kingdom. I look for a change especially in our black children with a role model that is set before them, maybe now they will see what we have told them for years is in fact possible

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 11/25/2008
Jacquie, Happy Thanksgiving to all. This year we can add something new to our list of thanks; A black American becoming the President of the United States of America. As we stand or sit before we eat with our family and friends, let us remember who made this day possible; The Lord God Almighty. I thank God for each and everyone of us that are on this blog. We disagree and agree, but we are family. As family I will be right back after Thanksgiving to discuss, agree and disagree with you because I love you (lol). We are a blessing to each other because of the blessing of God upon Bishop Brady to open this discussion venue.
Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Jacquie on 11/26/2008
I say amen to that. I love all because we are brothers and sisters in Christ as we were in Him before the foundation of the world. By the way i like that "choices defeated but not opportunity". It is definitely by the choices we make because time and opportunity happens to us all. Not what do we do with the opportunity when it presents itself??

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Jacquie on 11/26/2008
correction: I meant NOW what do we do when opportunity presents itself. we really need direction from God because every opportunity is not even for us. God which opportunity do we choose should be our prayer. Illuminate our steps daily so that we make the right choices.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 11/26/2008
Jacquie, my dear friend and fellow son of God, you are absolutely correct. I hope to dialogue next week. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By Listen 101 on 11/27/2008
Well, It's been awhile Bishop G.Brady, however Listen 101 is back on the scene and ready to "blog it out" with folks. This truly is a great and historic moment for our country and people. It was amazing to hear the testimonies of the older generation explaining what they went through to see this day happen and to them I give my love and respect. However, with that being said, after looking over the issues that this country is facing and the responses that the candidates gave, I couldn't see casting my ballot for Sen.Obama. Of course it dosen't matter now because the election is over and he did win by a "landslide" victory. My conviction in the matter was that I know he is an African American but the mans track record when faced with authority and high profile situations and circumstances you seen him routinely he side stepped direct answers and went straight to his main weapon of "reasoning"! In the book- SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY by Watchman Nee- he explains how we as Christians must live above reason. Bishop Brady the question that I ask is "What governs our lives?" Is it reason or authority? When one is enlightened by the Lord he will be blinded by the light(God), and his reason will be cast aside. Paul learned this the hard way on the road to Damascus; no longer did he hold onto his own reason. Moses as well had his arguments and his reasons, but in obedience to God he lived above reason. Those under the authority of God must be delivered from the life of reason. President-Elect Obama has been called the "VOICE OF REASON!" Reason is the first cause of Rebellion. In my eyes this moment surfaced, or in some blog responses ,"manifest" itself when President-Elect Obama threw his Pastor under the bus and totally disassociated himself from his church of over 20 years. I believe a true act of being under submission would have been that he agreed with his Pastor ,if in fact he did, but in his reasoning he knew it would cost him the Presidencey. I truly pray for his soul and family with an understanding that he will be obedient to Gods will. There are two types of Christians:those who live on the level of reason, and those who live on the level of authority. We must either live by God's authority or live by human reason- it is impossible to live by both. Be blessed and look forward to your response back. Peace-Listen 101

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 11/29/2008
101, you make a very good point. However, you are asking a man that have never confessed to being saved to live above reason. Also, it is impossible for him to live above or without the authority of God. Please dont forget that we are living in a democracy. God choses men not by the contents of their character or the color of their skin, but by his divine purpose to bring this world to it's destiny according the the book of Revelations. Let us continue to pray for the President so that we may live a peaceble and quite life. I am not answering for Bishop Brandy, I am speaking for myself. He will be obedient to God's will or find himself in a field acting like a bird (the Book of Daniel).

Gittysburg: I respect the response however I have to make it plain, Prez-Elect Obama did "profess" he was in deed a Christian in a follow up interview over the Rev.Wright issue, but the main focus of my point was indeed "authority". Gittysburg you state that we live in a Democracy but you fail to realize that God establishes authority from his throne, hence all Christians are citizens of God's KINGDOM and we need to reflect that and institute KINGDOM principles in this and on this earth. Authority is a tremendous power in the universe and nothing overshadows it, which brings me to my point: When the archangel turned into Satan when he overreached God's authority, competed with God, and thus became an adversary of God-Rebellion was the cause of Satan's fall. Since it is a matter of conduct, sinning is more easily forgiven than rebellion, rebellion is a matter of principle! The act of sinning was not the cause of Satan's fall; that act was but the product of his rebellion against authority. It was rebellion which God condemned. Man's habit of reasoning is so serious that it cannot be resolved without a battle. Peace-Listen 101

Listen 101- This is a great response to my response to your comments. Thanks. Even though I am Apostolic, I believe people are saved by the blood of Jesus and not by religious titles. Many of my fellow denominational believers don’t disagree with me. Christendom is very heavy in America, and many people believe that they are Christ Christians without following Christ. They join a Church and get baptized in the name of the church and for the church and think that they are Christians. Mr Obama has attacked the theology of the church many times. He is not talking about denominational theology; he is speaking about the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible. I voted for Mr Obama, but that doesn’t have anything to do with his belief in Christ. The Churches eschatological message is based on it’s spiritual loving insight into people lives so that we may rightly judge in order to witness. We have to look beyond our perception of people outward confession to see the fruit of their character. We have to call it what it is and then invite the person to accept Christ as savior. If we fail to do this, then let us all stop witnessing to people of low and high degree. I as Church member have only one purpose; the purpose of the church. I believe that Mr. Obama will be a Cyrus. I believe like Cyrus he will be lead by the Lord, but also will use much wish human reasons. Listen 101, you make some great philosophical points about rebellion that I will use to explain this very subject. Thanks

Listen and Gittysbug, would you not agree that the Lord had a hand in Barack Obama being elected as president? If we were praying that the Lord's will be done and asked for His determinate purpose, are not we all pieces on God's chessboard of life?

Re: "IT HAPPENED!" By gittysbug on 12/5/2008
Bishop, I agree with you. Daniel 2: 21 “and he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 4:17 “This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” Based on these scriptures it would be impossible for any one else to have been elected president of the United States of America. This is God’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. I drove in this morning with so much joy after thinking about the choices Mr Obama has made. These choices have earned him great respect as the next president even among conservative republicans. Bishop, I will send to you the prayer that I wrote on 11/05/08 about Mr Obama. Here are two responses that I got back. “I Have to tell you that I FORGOT WHERE I WAS AND ALMOST SHOUTED OUT LOUD THANK YOU JESUS YOUR PRAYER TOUCHED MY HEART THAT I DID CLAP MY HANDS I COULD NOT HELP IT. WHAT A HEARTFELT PRAYER. THE PRAYERS OF THE RIGHTEOUS TOUCHES THE HEART. GOD BLESS YOU AND CONTINUE TO BE AN AMBASSADOR OF GOD. YOUR PRAYERS STIRS THE SOUL. GOD BLESS YOU. Sincerely, Phyllis Washington. ” Amen and Praise the Lord! I felt the anointing of God while reading this prayer! This prayer is so soul stirring, profound, insightful, educational and inspiring! I am thankful to God for a……….Sis. Shelia Fields.” I am in favor of Mr. Obama because I know that God has chosen him. We didn’t have anything to do with this selection. There were many of us saints praying against this selection. God would have made his choose without our agreement or disagreement. But, we had to vote. My question for you, for those that didn’t vote for him were they moved to vote against him. And, those that voted for him were they moved to vote for him. I have answered my own question by remembering the incident with Jeroboam and Rehoboam. God moved the people to go with Rehoboam which split the kingdom. This is a chessboard situation, therefore it is highly possible that we are pieces on this chessboard at this time. But, Obama is not a Christ Christian. He is part of Christendom. His homosexual and pro abortion agenda proves that. I love him as a man, and I want him to be the best and get ‘saved.’
