 | | Posted by: A. Glenn Brady | 6/1/2007 | Today, I'm happy to announce the launching of The Brady Resource Group and the iniation of this new web site. This month's "Issue of Distinction" [my monthly message] is entitled Bridging The Digital Divide In The Church. It talks about the tremendous opportunities available now through the internet and digital technology. Unfortunately, these resources in the African-American community are not as assessible as with the white community. This disparity of resources has been coined 'the digital divide.' And so too in the church, we have not taken advantage of the available digital technology to improve and enhance our efforts with ministry. In fact, when it comes to the utilization of the internet and digital technology, many of our churches are still in the 'dark ages." It is my hope that this website and blog can reveal how we must use the technology available for 21st century ministry. Thru the use of the internet and the world wide web, no longer is ministry restricted to our local geographical area; but using this as our pulpit, the entire world becomes the stage we can reach. I look forward to your input and interactive dialogue as I introduce provocative, subject matters for our discussion each week. Be blessed! | | | Permalink | Trackback |

| Re: "An Open Door" | By Peter 'Petros' Daley on 9/10/2007 | | This is awesome Suffragon Bishop! The website is really good and informative. We need many more leaders with this mentality to be on the cutting edge of technology. We do need to keep up with the times as the 'Word' does say knowledge will increase...rapidly too. God bless you sir, Petros |
