| | NEW SPIRITUAL ASSIGNMENT |
|
| Location: Blogs Glenn's Blog |
| | Posted by: A. Glenn Brady | 7/14/2009 | For some, I'm sure you've been wondering what happened to me and my regular blog updates. Well on June 7, 2009, the congregation of the New Bethel Church in Kansas City, KS voted for me to serve as the new pastor. The Lord has shown us favor and we are excited about the move of God. Already we are seeing God work in a tremendous way. I've been commuting and in transition, until a final move takes place. For that reason, I've been unable to blog -- but I'll soon be able to resume and give you regular updates with the new move, as well as other events that are happening around the world. Angela and I greatly solicit your prayers. And on a sad note, our family pet -- "Mickie" -- our Bichon that we've had for over 16 years recently passed. I guess with our move to KC, her assignment with us in Youngstown was over. She lived throughtout both girls school years and even college. We certainly will miss her! Look to hear from you! --A.G. Brady

| Re: NEW SPIRITUAL ASSIGNMENT | By Minister Sishman Rimpson (S.R.) on 7/20/2009 | | God Bless you Sir,

Not a shock at all to hear of your new assignment, having only known you for a short time due to your visit to San Antonio, I could definitely see you serving as a Pastor of Gods flock. We are praying for you here in Texas, at Genesis Full Life, and are looking forward to your visit in August! My calander is marked, and I can't wait for this years Leadership Conference. You told me something the last time you were here Bishop, and it has stuck with me ever since. You said to me, "We do what we do, to make a permanent impact, not a temporary impression." I've used that quote with our youth, on my job. Again looking forward to hearing and putting into practical application the priciples and teachings of the "Joshua Generation" .

Blessings to you in all of your endevours.

Min. It's nice to still see your old office with you sitting at your desk, as if nothing has changed. I pray God's guidance upon you and your family as you take the difficult journey in pastoring a church who looks to you. |

| Convention Message | By Bishop George H. Richardson on 8/27/2009 | | Grace and Peace,

Congratulations on your new assignment. I pray all the favor that you can contain be bestowed by God on you and your loved ones.
I recently heard the message you preached at the PAW convention. This was the message about destiny and the longer road to it. A perspective was presented based on the message to a congregation that I do not think you intended. I really believe your desire, other than to bless and save a soul, was to free the saints, not bind or intimidate them.
I enjoyed and was blessed by your message. I was saddened when it was used out of context. Preachers using the words of other preachers to confuse the growing saints of God, is part of an equation that leads to nothing but bondage and disillusionment.
This is not a reflection on you. Your delivery and insight was pertinent and timely. However, your actual message was presented on a projection screen, and it was the allusions and contentions taken out of context and extrapolated from it, that raised the flag in my spirit.
How can a thing like this be stopped? It can't. A possible remedy is to really consider who you are listening to, and although you may love them, and they may have rule over you, if their best interest for you is not truly Godly, you may need to listen a little more carefully.

Peace out
|

| Re: NEW SPIRITUAL ASSIGNMENT | By gittysbug on 8/28/2009 | | I wasn’t at the Convention this year, but I heard that it was very good. Bishop, I read what Bishop Richardson (08-27-09) had to say about the interpretation of your message on Destiny. From what I am reading it sounds like the message was taken out of context or he missed it or you missed. Any of the three are possible. That’s life. I offer my opinion from Bishop Richardson’s conclusion of the misinterpretation of the subject matter. By the way, I hope this blog subject matter generates more discussions. There is a train in the era of church history that is running too fast and going no where. The train is called Get Your Destiny. This is a true train, but the saints that are riding it are sad because they are looking out of the windows and watching their stuff go by. Many of them feel that they on the wrong train track. Destiny is a stationary place. For the Child of God that place is Heaven or the Kingdom of Heaven. This world is not our home, and the Lord warns us of acquiring too much of it. Where our treasure is there shall our heart be. He knows that we have need of certain things and he will provide, or allow us to obtain riches based on our abilities. Also, He and the leaders of the Church appoint and assign leaders at various times to carry on the work of the ministry. Heaven is our destiny. God may call one to build up and move on. We must pitch our tents and build our alters. We must claim the things of the Lord, and get and receive the material things of this world, but be cognizant of the fact that we are pilgrims and strangers in this world. Destiny is eternal, and everything else is temporal and needs to be treated as such. I have a huge house, nice cars and a good job. My next move is to lead God’s people, but I also I know that this may not be God’s will, but joy comes from reaching my destiny; Heaven. |

| Re: NEW SPIRITUAL ASSIGNMENT | By Jacquie Hays on 9/3/2009 | | I could be sad but I know that the work of the Lord must continue on in ushering in the Kingdom of God. God's shift in the heavenlies is awesome and powerful. I knew his hand was upon you years ago when i began to call you Bishop back then. I know the church will be blessed and as they come to Calvary and say, I will say here, i pray that they know and realize who they are getting. I love all of you and will continue to pray for you in the work that God has called you to |

| Re: NEW SPIRITUAL ASSIGNMENT | By Bishop William M Polley on 9/25/2009 | | Congratulations, Bishop Brady, on your new assignment. It has been a long time since we have been in the same company but I am glad to know that the Lord has continually elevated the commited young man I met some time ago in Youngstown. May the favor of the Lord be with you and your endeavors to train and develop the saints for kingdom purposes. |

| Re: NEW SPIRITUAL ASSIGNMENT | By Patricia Cooper of Jonesville on 1/31/2010 | | Now that the Lord has called Bishop Wagner home to Glory I thought for sure you would be the new pastor of Calvary. I just found your blog on tonight on Facebook that you had gone to Kansas. The last time I saw you & Bishop Wagner was in Atlanta when Elder Rodges ministered. Our prayers are with you all that God would comfort and meet every need that the church stand in the need of Calvary. A Giant will be laid to rest! |
